Hello everyone! I have 2 beautiful almost teen kids and since giving birth to them and working full time my body has gotten progressively worse and worse. I have struggled with weight since I was in elementary school and was put on my first diet in 4th grade. In terms of the diet that "works" over the years I have tried it all from weight watchers in their many incarnations to "stop the insanity" to cabbage soup, to exercise binging. I have been in good shape and poor shape, but it seems that in these past few years I have been in a rut. I haven't worn my wedding ring in about 6 years because it just doesn't fit. I am afraid to do a lot of the things I used to because of my size and I am just really tired of it. I currently started doing keto on my own because I have several friends and relatives that it has worked for recently but part of me no longer knows what to believe. If you have any inspiration or keto friendly ideas I would LOVE to be in your friend group! Please add me! Also - I don't see an "add friend" button when I click on people. Am I missing something?

I don't know anything about keto but feel free to add me as a friend. I'm in a rut too. Mom of 3 (and two stepkids) and I work at home so I sit a lot. I'm the biggest I've ever been when not pregnant and I'm tired of feeling horrible. We can do this! I really need inspiration as well.
When you go to add a friend you click on someone's profile picture and once that box pops up then click on their picture a second time and it takes you to where you can add them.1 -
New member to Keto and on my 2nd week and loving it so far. First week, I dropped a *kitten* ton of water weight which gave a false sense of confidence (and fear), but I'm still continuing to drop at a good rate and enjoying my looks in the mirror.
My wife is in the same club as you. She's giving birth to our second child in 9 days, and once she is able to, will most likely join my keto diet so that we can share the same groceries and meals instead of doing everything separate. I'll try to get her to make an account here as well.1 -
Hey there!
I've been on Keto for almost 6 months and have lost 63lbs.
I'm addicted to Keto and would love to help. I'm kinda strict about it tho, I cut dairy, eat LOTS of broccoli, chicken, eggs and bacon. But I did eat "regular" Keto in the beginning... anyways, if you want some help or motivation, just let me know.

Hi there! Not a mother but can sympathize your lifetime struggle with weight. I just started Keto and am working on week 2. I have found much of my inspiration in the r/keto on Reddit. It's a very supportive and inspiring group. You can also reference r/ketorecipes for some really great meal ideas. Those two subreddits plus being diligent about logging my food in myfitnesspal has help keep me motivated.1

I LOVE the subreddit for Keto.. and ketorecipes.. and keto_food..
Here a few others you might not know about (and for newcomers that might be interested in Reddit for Keto stuff) :
https://www.reddit.com/r/keto/ (Main Keto page)
https://www.reddit.com/r/Keto_Food/ (One of the Keto food pages I follow)
https://www.reddit.com/r/shittyketofoodporn/ (where people post keto food that looks awful but tastes pretty good xD)
https://www.reddit.com/r/1200isplentyketo/ (Haven't been to this page yet but I might now.. they have a lot of /1200isplenty where people post images of their lower calorie foods where people only eat up to 1200. didn't realize there was a keto page now xD)
https://www.reddit.com/r/100DaysofKeto/ (Unsure of this page but if you like challenges, this might be up your aisle)
https://www.reddit.com/r/xxketo/ (This is the keto page for women that are doing Keto)
https://www.reddit.com/r/ketoprogress/ (keto progress pictures.. I didn't know this was here either so I'm definitely subscribing now)
Totally better than any Facebook keto group.. so much negativity it hurts xD1
