Hey everyone I am just starting on my journey to become a healthier person! I hope to find inspiration, recipes and tips here. Anything will help please and thank you

Hi, my name is Crystal. I am trying the weight loss thing again. I have tried many times and have been unsuccessful at maintaining. The main thing that I have learned about trying to lose weight and get healthier is that you need to focus on how you feel, not the numbers on the scale or your pants size. Also I think it is helping me to not make extreme changes. I am eating a lot fewer calories and smaller portions, but I still eat the junk food that I crave. I eat candy bars, but instead of eating a full size candy bar I eat the mini ones. I buy the individual bags of potatoes chips as opposed to the family bag. If I didn't still have the sweets and the chips, I would have given up already. I am trying to eat more fruits and vegetables also. Soda was also one of my weaknesses, but I have been limiting myself to a glass of Pepsi max or coke zero with diner and then I drink water with crystal light or propel throughout the day. I am not a water drinker, so adding something to my water helps me drink it. Just be honest with yourself during this journey and make sure you set obtainable goals. Helloo ! I agree with Crystal, you absolutly don't have to deprive yourself ! If you want to eat chocolate, eat it ! But then, for exemple, for the dinner eat a lot of vegetable. For me the secret of loosing weight is not to make a diet but changing our way of eat (life style) because I think it's the only way to built something durable
Since I start my journey of loosing weight, I have never enjoyed as much cocking.
