What's it set? what makes you say its too high? height, weight, age?1

It's 1200 but I usually do 10000

what's your height and weight?

5" and 120lbs0

There is a reason that the MFP minimum is 1200. If you go below that regularly you won't be getting enough of the macronutrients.
The one exception is if you're morbidly obese and under a medical professional's advice.3 -
I'll just manage it myself but thanks0

What was the point of asking then...5

Since you're already a healthy weight, why are you putting your calories so low?

To see if it could be manually changed on the app? Stupid comment0 -
You're very small, which makes it hard because of the lower cals. Have you used a decent TDEE calculator to get an estimate on our average daily burn?1

I'll give that a look. Where's the best place to find one that is accurate?0 -

This one gets rated pretty highly:

As you're at a healthy weight already, you're gonna want to pick a lower loss rate per week in order to not have to starve. The pain of being short1 -

Thank you! it's only low because of medical reasons but thanks for the concern! Being short sucks!!1 -
On the website, go to Goals then Daily Nutrition Goals. You can type in the calorie amount you want there. I don't know about ios but on android go to Goals then touch Calorie and Macronutrient Goals. I also have mine set to 1000 because I maintain at 1500 (I'm also short). Because the system gives you more calories when you exercise I tend to work out and eat the 1200 some days.1
