Has anyone used the Myprotein fat binding capsules?
They are supposed to prevent some gastric absorption of fat - Reviews look good!
The fat in my diet is pretty low anyway, (40g a day roughly). I'm guessing these could work if I was to snack on something like nuts.

Your brain needs good fats to function. Do not jeopardize those.
If anything add fish oil to your diet. Fat (good fat) is so good for you. Now, go grab an avocado and some almonds. You are too low fat as it is.
Did you know many vitamins need fat to abosorb? Vit D, A, E, K and many others.13 -
Fat doesn't make you fat. Calorie surplus leads to weight gain, calorie deficit is needed to lose.10

Put the shart pills down! You don't need them.15

Most all fat blockers have some rather unpleasant side effects, anal leakage being one that pops out at me.6

Having too little fat messes with your hormones including testosterone. 40 is already probably too low (I don't know your height or weight) but blocking even more just seems like a bad idea. If the pills really work, then they'll give you diarrhea or cause you to poop your pants. That's how fat blocking pills work.2 -
Why Low-Fat Diets Make You Fat (And Unhealthy)

If you make smoothies add chia or flax seeds for brain healthy omega 3's. Your central nervous system also requires good fats. My minimum, as a lady, is 52grams/day.1 -
Skip looking for magic pills and porions to make you skinny - especially anything that comes with anal leakage - ewwww, why? Eat at a calorie deficit.5

low fat diets dont make you fat either. Im on a low fat diet due to a health issue and it hasnt made me fat at all nor has it messed with my hormones but I eat at least 40g a day sometimes a little more.my health markers also improved greatly with little to no weight loss in the last year.1 -
I wouldn't... go with a good old fashioned calorie deficit. Why do you think you need them?4

Things to know about "fat blocker" pills:
1) Most don't do what they claim to do
2) You don't want them to work anyway because your body depends on sufficient fat intake for health (brain health, vitamin solubility, joint health and much more)
3) Whether they work or not, they're likely to greatly increase the risk of you pooping your pants3 -

Scary side effect: if you are not absorbing fat, it has to come out somewhere. The problem is you don't get to control the when and where.4 -
Why wouldn't you want fat in your diet? Healthy fats (like organic animal fat, fruit, nut and seed oils) are essential to overall good health and reduce inflammation, provide energy and help you lose inches of bad fat.
I have been eating between 50 g / 125 g of fat every day and I have lost over 40 pounds and I am usually not really that hungry on 1400 calories a day.

Best post:I've never taken Alli, BUT, I do have a real world story to share.
I used to work at a furniture store... about 3 years ago. We once had a a female customer come into the store. Well, she had to make a break for the bathroom quite suddenly. After some time the salesperson who had been working with her complained (I was in customer service) that the lady never came back and that he'd wasted time with her. A handful of minutes passed and I went to the bathroom. What I saw I can never ever unsee.
Without going into too much gruesome detail, there was orange poo everywhere. The lady's clothes were in the trash, soiled. The lady was in one of the stalls hysterically crying. I left and told the manager about it. She went to help out the lady and basically gave her a sheet from one of the floor model beds to cover herself so she could leave the bathroom. The manager later told us the lady said she was taking Alli and she'd basically exploded everywhere. She apologized over and over. I felt bad for the lady. How embarassing and humiliating for her that must have been. Then the other customer service girl I worked with volunteered to clean the bathroom (we didn't have a cleaning service at the time, it was a brand new store). I didn't envy her position. It was the single most grossest thing I've ever seen (and I have 2 kids...so...).
So yeah... word of caution there....4
