Today's my first day using this app. I'm hopeful it will help me reach my fitness goals. I'm frustrated with the plateau I have reached and have tried everything that works for everyone else, but can't seem to push through the plateau!

What do you do as far as diet and exercise?0

I have just been doing portion control, low calorie, and low carbs.
Exercise has been primarily 3 to 5 days a week, sometimes more depending on my schedule. Up until this month I've been doing 30 minutes of cardio (usually elliptical, lateral elliptical, stationary bikes, and/or row machine) and at least (but usually much more) 30 minutes of weights/strength and resistance.
I have begun concentrating more on lifting weights and less on cardio. I do my weight lifting as a circuit, so it keeps my heart rate elevated. I still do 10 minutes of purely cardio and also do an hour to 3 hours of weights.
I also used to separate workouts by upper body and lower body and alternate each day.
I also changed this to muscle groups with alternating days to give plenty of recovery time for each muscle group.0 -
Don't give up! My plateau lasted 5 weeks. Glad I stuck it out.1
