Working away from home until 8th August. I find when I am away I can focus, no distractions from my lovely hubby. Although all the English food I don't normally get access too is a big temptation. My August target is only 4 lbs, I am only 8 lbs from my final goal weight so I expect it to be slow

    Successes / struggles this week: August is going to be a rough month, with Michigan Homebrew Festival derailing me for a couple days right in the middle of it, so I'm going for a less aggressive goal than normal. I might very well hit that goal before MHF... the trick will be getting back down to it afterwards. My last extended cheat weekend took me 9 days to recover.

    Struggle is nonstop travel schedule for work, combined with a medically ordered running ban, which removes the easy form of traveling exercise. *sigh*
    Success- avoided temptations quite well (boyfriend out of town did help with that some)
    Other struggle: I really didn't eat enough this weekend. Although I am happy with the number I think it is artificially low, and it will be a bit before I see it again.


    August struggle: vacation at the end of the month (thus the early goal date). - needing to be ok with not being anywhere near today's weigh in again for a while if I am actually eating properly.

    My husband is away at depot for 6 months and I'm alone for the first time, with our 10 month old son. I don't drive, live pretty remote, and am finding everything overwhelming. I want to lose the weight for me but having a goal of 6 months aligned with my husband's return sweetens the pot.

    I hadn't control what i eat about two months, I'm back. I feel somewhat motivated. But it'll be hard, I have big goals. I need big changes in my life. I hope I'm gonna make it.

    Struggles:
    I work a job that has variable hours. That keeps me from eating at the same time. I generally try to walk every day for exercise. Some medical issue also interfere with eating and exercise. I hoping that joining this challenge will be a motivator for me.

    Successes / struggles this week: I'm aiming for a realistic goal this month because I'm headed out on vacation today for a week and am spending another week with family. I'm planning to try make good food choices, but not be so obsessed that I'm more worried about tracking calories than enjoying time with friends and family. And I will aim for 20 minutes of activity a day.

    I have a hernia. I busted my gut last week in a workout and I am now trying to ensure I modify my workouts so as not to exacerbate it. I've been struggling a lot with changing my lifestyle over the past couple of months, and trying not to let a setback reset all of the changes I've made, but it's difficult. Staying positive!!!

    I haven't had control over my eating for quite some time now. A few years back, I stuck with myfitnesspal and lost 80 pounds. I gained it all back due to depression and crazy life changes. Recently like this week, I realized I need to step up and take control over my eating again. My only struggle this week is to try to avoid crazy snacking after I get out of work. Cuz that's been a habit lately.
