Successes / struggles this week: August is going to be a rough month, with Michigan Homebrew Festival derailing me for a couple days right in the middle of it, so I'm going for a less aggressive goal than normal. I might very well hit that goal before MHF... the trick will be getting back down to it afterwards. My last extended cheat weekend took me 9 days to recover.2 -

Struggle is nonstop travel schedule for work, combined with a medically ordered running ban, which removes the easy form of traveling exercise. *sigh*
Success- avoided temptations quite well (boyfriend out of town did help with that some)
Other struggle: I really didn't eat enough this weekend. Although I am happy with the number I think it is artificially low, and it will be a bit before I see it again.
August struggle: vacation at the end of the month (thus the early goal date). - needing to be ok with not being anywhere near today's weigh in again for a while if I am actually eating properly.1 -

My husband is away at depot for 6 months and I'm alone for the first time, with our 10 month old son. I don't drive, live pretty remote, and am finding everything overwhelming. I want to lose the weight for me but having a goal of 6 months aligned with my husband's return sweetens the pot.1 -

I work a job that has variable hours. That keeps me from eating at the same time. I generally try to walk every day for exercise. Some medical issue also interfere with eating and exercise. I hoping that joining this challenge will be a motivator for me.

I'm planning to try make good food choices, but not be so obsessed that I'm more worried about tracking calories than enjoying time with friends and family. I have a hernia. I busted my gut last week in a workout and I am now trying to ensure I modify my workouts so as not to exacerbate it. I've been struggling a lot with changing my lifestyle over the past couple of months, and trying not to let a setback reset all of the changes I've made, but it's difficult. Staying positive!!!1 -

I haven't had control over my eating for quite some time now. A few years back, I stuck with myfitnesspal and lost 80 pounds. I gained it all back due to depression and crazy life changes. Recently like this week, I realized I need to step up and take control over my eating again. My only struggle this week is to try to avoid crazy snacking after I get out of work. Hoping to quit my Dr Pepper and fast food habit and begin eating healthy and exercising to feel energetic and healthy again. Successes / struggles this week: Back for more after a successful July! I've set a pretty aggressive goal for this month instead of my usual 5 lbs, as I really want to push myself. My struggle is always the diet, so I know if I really focus on it this month I should be able to lose 10 lbs. I'm also signed up for a 30 day challenge at my gym this month, so hopefully I'll have a little extra focus this month. I had to shell out money for the gym challenge so I better see results!0
