It depends on how much weight you have to lose.2

you are close to normal weight for height (if not in range)- so probably only 5lbs (assuming .5lbs a week)
you might be better to do progressive strength and recomp a bit4 -
Also, juice cleanses will not help you if this is your goal.9
-
Yeah I would say 5-7 lbs would be realistic. Closer to 5 would be my best guess.2

5'5 currently 70kg
5 lbs1 -
2.5 months = 10 weeks. You can try for 2lb/week but most people can't sustain that. More realistic approach would be an average of 1lb/week, so 10 lbs, and be happy if it's more. The taller you are, the easier it is in my opinion. At 5'5", it won't be as easy as it was for me, but you could do it if you are diligent.12

Edited for reading the entire comment, I thought you were suggesting OP to try for 2 lbs a week. My bad1 -
I would guess the most would be a lb per week so 10 lbs at the absolute most. Any more than that is unrealistic.1

It depends on a lot of things. It would depend on how much overall you have to lose and where you are starting at weight-wise, what type of exercise/activities you do, etc. I've lost up to 10 lbs in a month before but I was very diligent and ate between 1000-1100 calories per day at that time.3

Try this:
https://www.supertracker.usda.gov/bwp/index.html
If you enter all of your information accurately in expert mode, you can see how diet and behavioral changes can affect your weight over time.
ETA: you can run different simulations under different conditions and see what fits your parameters he best.6 -

How'd you manage that? I am able to put in plenty of exercise
But I hate exercising at this size
Because I got a lot extra that usual in the bust area and I'm getting back ache
So exercise is tricky at this stage
What was your routine?
I will feel so much more confident with 10 lost

Another thing guys is I'm asthmatic and I can't jog or do intensive sport in all honesty
At Least not now1 -
Only 5 lbs in 2.5 months? Ridiculous. You could easily lose twice that. Probably a little more.
People on this site get all hung up on "if you have this much to lose, you should only lose this quickly". And that's good advice for losing in the long term. But you can easily drop more than 5 lbs in 2.5 without doing anything unhealthy.14 -
So tell mfp you want to lose 1 lb per week and get your calorie goal. Log accurately and consistently. Do whatever exercise you can and do your best to hit your calorie goal. All you can do is all you can do, but you might have to settle for slow progress. I ended up losing half'a-lb per week because I just couldn't eat less than I was and not be miserable.1

Nah I wouldn't suggest it. I managed to average 2lbs/wk in a year (110lbs my first year lost) but I managed to hurt myself doing it. I was exercising at a furious rate and had a deficit of up to 2lbs per week or more. Even with that deficit I was still eating around 1800-1900/day which for some people is a lot, but I'm 6'2" tall and was going at it 7 days a week for up to two hours a day. It can be done, I am proof of that, but trust me it sucks.2 -
I vote 10lbs (5lbs water and 5lbs fat)2

NO not 5 pounds a week. For every pound of fat loss you need a 3,500 calorie deficit. 5 pounds in 1 week would be a 2,500 calorie deficit EVERY DAY. Not even if you ran a couple marathons each day, and ate nothing....would this be possible.
1/2 pound a week is realistic when you are very close to goal. Set a weekly goal of 1 pound a week and do your best. Some weeks will be more than 1/2 pound, other weeks maybe not at all. Just do what you can.2 -

I agree 100%
I think it's totally underambitious to say just 5lbs
Barely seems worth trying11 -
OP - between the two threads that you have (Highest weight loss in 2.5 months and asking about juice cleanses), I think it would benefit you to go back and read some of the stickies at the top of the page. They are a wealth of good information.
I'm a bit concerned that you might be trying to go for unhealthy extremes here . . .

When someone starts a diet they 90% of the time drop a few pounds in the first 2 weeks due to waterweight. So yes, More than 5lbs, but going lower than 1200 calories and not eating any of your exercise calories is not ok.4

So stay how you are if it isn't worth it because the alli and juice cleanses and such are a bad idea anyway. Nothing wrong with accepting your body the way it is, especially when the alternative is unhealthy.7 -

But the only reason the amount you can lose is limited is because you are not giving yourself enough time. You can eventually lose as much weight as you want to lose and it will totally be worth it. But in the limited time you have given yourself, your results will also be limited.
Set your goal to 1 lb per week, lose the 5-10 lbs you can lose in 10 weeks, and then stay on plan to lose more if you want.
How many pounds would you like to lose in total?2 -
