Hi all,
Ive had this app for about a month and have been recording calories and exercise.

A week or two ago i started doing weights as well as cardio.

My question, if for my weight loss target im set at 1400 calories a day, does that mean i am automatically saving 600 a day (recommended amount) or do i need to aim to cut about 500 a day from my 1400?

Thanks in advance,
Amy

Thanks the only reason i ask is if i balance at the 1400 it basically says i will maintain my weight - whereas if i am quite a bit under it says i will lose the weight i want to, perhaps i need to revisit my settings, but appreciate your help

1400 means you will lose at the rate you chose at the goal setting.
It is unlikely you will maintain at 1400 unless you are very old, extremely thin and very short all at once.

If your maintenance calories are 1800 and tou consume 1400 calories you are at a 400 calorie deficit. I hope this help, good luck.
