Lifting program 3x a week and 20% calorie deficit diet with enough protein is my advice.

Type your stats into the MFP profile, set for 1lb per week loss and "sedentary." Log everything you eat as accurately as you can, keeping within the limit consistently. Add some calories for exercise (careful, it's easy to overestimate). And there you have it. It has worked for me and it can work for you.

Thanks for much, for me it's says to eat 1740 but I eat less than that and feel pretty full. What happens if I don't reach that goal they have set for me?

If you log everything accurately and are under 1740, you should see results after 3-4 weeks. If you do running/jump rope/cardio/etc. you earn some extra calories which you can eat. If you are eating less than 1740, weight should fall faster. Dont go too low and starve though.
