Is there a problem with going over your protein goals?

    It beats going under. If you have some medical issues, such as a kidney problem diagnosed by a physician, you will be told to avoid protein.

    How far over are you thinking of going?

    Also, mfp gave you your macro goals by default. You are free to diddle with them to suit yourself.

    The exception to this is if your kidneys are so bad that it requires dialysis, at which you're recommended to eat more protein than usual (1g per kg of body weight) since the process pulls out protein that's in the blood.
