PreWorkout Snack

I'm headed to spin class and I usually burn 800-900 calories. I haven't eaten lunch because I had a late breakfast. Can someone please give me some prework out snack ideas. I know a protein and complex carbs, but I am stumped. I usually do ezekial bread and tbsp PB. Thanks.

P.S. You should have the snack 1 hour before workout right?

    My dietician (I have gestational diabetes) suggested just a protein bar. Quick and easy. And since I swim at 6 am, I just eat it on the way to the pool.

    Better off not eating and eating afterwards. It takes time to get used to but much better for you!

    Yea, I wouldn't recommend that kind of activity on an empty stomach. And I certainly wouldn't eat within an hour. Cramps are no fun.
