So just wondering if any of you take this polyphenol supplement and how does it work for you? And long term results?

It's hideously expensive, and he peddles a whole bunch of crap on that site. Seems like a typical snakeoil salesman to me.5

Now because of this board and the recent influx of Dr gundry fans all I see on misc. websites are ads for this product ugh0 -
It's known as WOO here. Supplements for weight loss or health rarely actually have any significant impact.
So what does? A balanced diet and exercise. Bet you've heard that a million times.

It's not designed for weight loss. And yes I know that diet and exercise are key.1 -

So do you take any vitamins of any sort? Right.... that's basically what vital Reds is.2 -

If you have a deficiency in particular vitamins, taking a supplement can help. If you're not deficient, you don't get extra healthy for taking more - you pee out the excess you don't need. I take vitamin D because I know I'm deficient. If you're worried about a deficiency, get tested. Or take a multi. But Gundry's stuff is massively overpriced and sold with a heaping side of pseudoscience and woo.6 -

Have you read the ingredients list?
It is the weakest B complex I've ever seen.
A boiled egg would give you more.3 -

Hi there, Didn't look like you got any good response- Well I got the "WOO" and have been using it for the last 6 weeks - I love it!! It is doing for me everything it is advertised to be. The naysayers always make snide comments, but they sure didn't share with you what "expensive pee" they make. Everyone is taking some kind of supplement. Protein powders and ECGC and all the rest of the smack people take are really expensive. I've heard it over and over "Eating healthy is the key to living well also get exercise, rest and plenty of water". I modify as many things as I can. I tried for over a year eating healthy, working out in gym and walked over 4 miles a day. I ate the "balanced meal" and did not cheat often. A cookie once in awhile was not gonna make a difference. and drank an ocean of water. The only time I lost any weight was doing a "cleanse" (4lbs in a week) But it slowly came back. I grilled all my fish, ate lean meat and whole grains and fresh veggies. So much salad my husband thought I was going vegan ... nothing happened. I had managed to lose 2 lbs only to see it return without cheating on going off my "diet"
I saw the infomercial on Vital Reds and decided to try it, not really for the potential weight loss but for energy and relieve brain fog. With the order I went ahead on got his book "diet evolution" another version of the Adkins diet. I am as skeptical and the next person and it is not cheap. At the discounted price it's about $1.00 per day. Less than the water I've been buying. I started the first day it arrived. Mixed the powder in water. It tasted pretty good. I started reading the "Diet Evolution" and it made a lot of sense why I was not losing weight. I started following the plan and taking the Vital Reds as a supplement in the morning. I lost over 5lbs the first week, another 2.5 lbs the 2nd week and so on. In the 6 weeks I have been following the plan and taking the supplement, I've lost 11lbs and feel really good. I don't know if it is the diet or the Vital Reds or a combination, but I am really encouraged and excited. Hope that helps to answer your question.3 -
