Well I actually lie and say that I am 5'2" but actually it is more like 5'1 1/4" - but that is too much to say or write so I round it out.
I do know that when you are short and gain 5 lbs it can look more like 10 lbs and it goes the same way for loosing. I just lost my first 5 lbs - I am on 1200 calories and am trying not to eat my earned calories because I think it just defeats my purpose. It's not like I am doing any heavy weight lifting or running so I am comfortable with just eating under 1200 calories. Feel free to add me as a friend.0 -
I guess I'm the shortest so far. I'm 4'8" and would love to have other short friends to commiserate with here on MFP. I do think weight loss at this height is a whole different ballgame...0

I am 4'11" and I have lost a total of 46 lbs. My goal is to make it an even 50 (115 lbs) by my 30th birthday on Aug. 18th!! I have had the best success with losing the most weight using the Beachbody programs such as ChaLEAN Extreme and Turbofire. I started with Turbo Jam probably 4 or 5 years ago. Now I am getting ready to start P90x on Monday to push myself to my goal. I started MFP in January and this has been another big help in loosing those last few. Feel free to add me!!! I am always curious to see how ladies my size eat and exercise-there's not too many like us!!!0

I am exactly 5' but its 5'1'' on my liscense which makes me happy I've always thought it would be harder for shorties to lose weight or get as toned as I want to be, so add me and we can do it together!0

Looking for success stories from the short women here to keep me motivated. Tried to use the search, but didn't work out too well (would have to spend forever going through the search results since you can't search by forum)
So, tell us how you lost yours!!! :happy:0 -
Im 5"1 feel free to add me.0

4' 10 1/2" my HW was 155lbs fand thanks to JM and her awesome kick *kitten* and DVDs and watching my diet I lost a total 40lbs weighing in at 115lbs, now this was before joining MFP. When I joined this site I think I was back up to 130lbs and at first half assed it but for the past month or so Ive been more committed to being faithful to MFP, diet and exercise Feel free to add me...I think its amazing how many ladies under 5 are members0

I am 5' and my weight was 136lbs in January (my heaviest) and now I am 118lbs. I am working out 3-4 days a week doing tbm p90x or Jillian and I also run. Sometimes I will go a week without exercising but then the next week I will do 2 workouts in the same day.0

I'm 5' and weigh 126. Trying to get to the 100-110 range. I have been getting into the habit of running 3-4 times a day for about 15 minutes. I'm really wanting to start insanity soon. So far I have lost 15 pounds but on here it only says 4. Lost 10 before I joined. Feel free to add me and we can help each other stay motivated (:0
