weight loss/muscle gain

i am currently weighing in at 115 lbs at 5 foot 3. my overall fitness goal is to lose weight and gain muscle. get a lean body. i was told i should be eating at around 1500 calories, is that correct?

How much weight are you trying to lose? You ate already in the bottom half of the healthy him range. 1500 + exercise calories is the bare minimum you should be eating.0

I wouldn't even think about losing weight at your size. Instead, eat at maintenance and lift heavy to recomp.0
