~2750 to maintain.
Bulking ranges anywhere from a 2900-3800/day average, depending upon the speed at which I want to gain. Low end for 0.2-0.3/week, high end for 0.7-1. It maths out weird, but basically the more I eat, the more I end up moving, so it gets more and more difficult to keep a surplus.
Did you say that you cut at 1200 calories....that's way too low for a man unless you have the shittiest metabolism in the world.
Shhh, trust me, I got this. Feel free to check my progress on my last cut in the Culking Bishes thread's last pages.2 -
1400 to maintain my range.0
-
All of them.1
-
Really depends on the day for me. Some days I only need 1500 (rest days) and others I need 3000 (lifting type days). I give the body what it wants so I'm never hungry.0
-
1200 - 1550, but trying to lose so wrong place for me to post.0
-
When I eat healthy I usually eat 1900-2300 at most ehoch is ridiculous0

There are several people in this section that follow Lyle's RFL, PSMF or other protocols. I'd say, it would be the exception....3 -
I maintain on 2200 - 2400. I wish it were less. I struggle some days to reach that and if I want to gain I basically have to eat nonstop.1
-
I currently have a goal of 2000. To maintain the weight I'm at now, I'd need about 3400 so it's a pretty big deficit. Then again, I have a lot to lose.0
-
2000-2500 to lose 1lb a week, having a try at maintenance this week and it's a ridiculous amount to eat trying to get to 3000-3500, even with having been shown how to incorporate more fats and oils.0
-
3000 to 35000
-
1220 on the weekdays, 1470 on the weekends.0
-
2300 - 2500 when cutting, 2500-2700 maintenance and 2700 - 3000 bulking.
Of course all these numbers can vary depending on activity...0 -
1,900-2,000 for recomp if I bother to stick to them, and maintenance if I go a bit over.
But girl...0 -
Around 1900 on inactive days to maintain and 2400-2800 on active days. I lose on less than 1800. I am 5'9.2 and 128 Ibs.0
-
I'm a powerlifter but don't "bulk" per se. I just eat 1,300 cals x day during the week and then on the weekends treat myself to a little more. This is maintenance for me. If I was strict all week long 1,300 would be a cut, but I don't intend to lose anything.0
-
2400 a day on average and I'm losing about 1 to 2 lbs per month. But I've also got a lot of burn, including weekly long runs of 10+ miles the past 4 months.0
-
3000 cutting 3750-4000 bulking.1
-
About 4000 to maintain1
-
Around 3250 - 3500, which is maintenance for me0
-
Last 4wks have avged 4200. Near maintenance.
Currently 195.
Was at 6-6500 when I hit my PR weight of 207lb.
Basically all day eating0 -

I am curious to know what that program and it's diet is all about, not that I would follow, I would just shoot myself if I had to eat that low.
Details of my protocol are in the thread that I mentioned in my last post.
TL;DR- 2g/lbs. LBM protein, 3g fish oil, supps for micros, and nothing else. I run it for two weeks at a time, and average ten to twelve pounds shed in that timeframe, and had zero strength loss in my last one, which just finished about two weeks ago now.1 -
Around 1700-1800 to cut. I'd need around 2200 to maintain. I'm 5'1 and 120 right now and trying to lose some vanity weight. 55 years old and very active.0
-
Wow! I'm blown away by these numbers!! My max is 1200- lately I haven't even been eating 1000! I'm just not that hungry and I don't eat back my calories from my workout. I'm 5'3 and 125.0
-
MFP has set 1220 for me to lose, but I get REALLY hungry on that caloric intake. I do much better on the days when I spend an hour working out and can add 300-350 calories, and I ALWAYS eat them back. Seems the only way I can stay on track!0

Currently weighing in at about 64kg (never been above 60 in my life) and this is after about 6 months of constantly eating 5-6k calories, still new to this so trying to work out where my macros are meant to be, have changed from hypotrophy style of training to more strength based in the past few weeks and feel/look like i have put on size but the actual weight gain has been minimal...feel like i have the worlds fastest metabolism0

1930 kcal is goal, depending on my activity, it usually goes over than that.
Trying to gain weight and build lean muscle. 40/40/20 ratio.
128 lbs, 5ft8in, goal is to get weight around 132lbs1 -
I try to eat my recommendation plus 75% of exercize calories. Sometimes I go higher, sometimes lower depending on how I feel during the day.0
-
I eat 1500 kals per day sometimes 1600 I want to lose 2lb per week the MFP tells me to only eat 1200 but that wont work for me I do regular exercise plus I am not a small framed person. I weigh 15st 8lbs at the moment lost 2lb last week and have lost 2 stone since January, my next goal is 2 stone by May 18 so my question is am I eating too many kals ?0
