    Almost related, but anyone else see the movie The Discovery? Some doc proves there's an afterlife so everyone starts offing themselves. Weird flick.

    I used to think this way. Sure, it's true...one day the last star in the universe will run out of fuel. It will become so bleak and cold that the transmission of information is impossible...rendering it impossible for any mind to exist.

    However, that's completely irrelevant to your own life. Impermanence is fine. It creates beauty. The existence and nature of beauty, love, thrill...isn't diminished by it's inevitable destruction and end.

    It's just bittersweet.

    Since the meaning of life is to give life a meaning then it's already been defined. Therefore, how can you give it a meaning? What a paradox....

    The meaning of life is to pray all day all night to complete the game and achieve Heaven after death . Though I doubt it so can someone take one for the team and kill yourself and email us back if it exists?
