It's a rest day.18

I'm still recovering from major surgery and have a 5 lbs weight restriction and an open abdominal wound. Hernia risk is high10
-
Twisted my ankle at work. And I work on my feet so when I got home I was not going to walk much more than necessary.4

Love that pic!
I don't need an excuse. After working all day, I got my butt on the treadmill even though I was exhausted and sore from last nights amazing leg workout. Go me!
Agreed, I never skip a workout and havent in a long long time. Nothing like cardio after leg day!!!! basically hurts until it all just goes numb lol2 -
My only excuse for not exercise is always and has been since I joined here ... illness.
That said, I've been hit with this bad Australian cold/flu and I'm still exercising, but I think I did take a day or two off a couple weeks ago.3 -
Swollen cheek after dental work... Might take few days off and I'm pissed.0

Well, since Friday morning I've been battling a nasty stomach bug. Today, all better - back to the gym!
Being legitimately sick is a reason, not excuse, to avoid working out, especially a stomach bug - don't need that going horribly wrong on a squat!4 -
I have a cold, lesson learned from last time I tried exercise with a cold, have to wait till it's done0

LOL, yep. I might be going a little slower, making some ugly faces, weird sounds, I'm even complaining the whole time, but I still do it.2 -
I'm a lazy ****0
-
It's been too humid to go on walkabout at lunch. I don't wanna come back to the office pouring sweat.0
-
I got my workout in at work. Put in a 9 hour shift chasing early toddlers including frequent lifting for diaper changes. Standard work days in daycare are a workout I get paid to do. And it was best for my health that I didn't add a true workout in on top of things unless I wanted to call in dead to work.1

Ah yes, ableism. Always a strong motivator.

It's a choice. Since it's a rest day - heavy squats yesterday - I might go for a walk later, if I so choose. If not,

Back spasms and too much fun at my solar eclipse viewing party (I go to the pool late afternoons)0
-
I did in fact exercise today already, but if this were one of "those" days where one of my medical conditions was acting up, I'd be taking a rest day and it certainly wouldn't be an "excuse". It would be listening to my body and not overdoing it.
Fitness is a wonderful thing. Using ableism to fitness shame sucks.12 -
My excuse is I'm rich.
Who needs delts when you have doooooollars.
(Kidding, I'm just lazy like other people.)5 -
Went to work, then gym even though it was later and there were a lot of noisy people about.
I realised a month or so back my anxiety about people and crowds is overruled by my anxiety over not training my core in. I'm ok with that lol0 -
I was sick yesterday0
-
Bent chain ring (big ring), but I got that fixed yesterday. $185 part and labor; money well spent.1
-
I got the reverse situation. Today is rest day. And I ended up working out
My excuse is I got up at 6AM. And couldn't just stay in bed.0 -
I don't need an excuse. I exercise when I want.4
-
My 'excuse' is nobody's business but my own.7
-
Mercury is in retrograde. Can't do it.4

Also, don't need you passing it on to others.
Stay home if you're sick, people!2 -
So I could answer this question with 'I don't need an excuse to not exercise today'.5
