All I was saying is that rest day isn't an excuse to not workout, it is part of the workout. So technically, it doesn't count as a reason/excuse to not workout.0 -

No, the longer you've been working out the more you realize the importance of rest days.3 -
Was in the pool at 6AM but I'm sure I can come up with one tomorrow....3

I was more being a smart *kitten* in my reply. I highly dislike the what is your excuse type posts. Like the "We all have the same 24 hours" crap often said by someone with either lots of money or lots of time.
I'm a competitive bodybuilder and powerlifter who started out obese. I have tons of excuse and sometimes I skip workouts (especially cardio). No shame here, sometimes I am lazy. We all have different responsibilities and priorities.5 -

I was being a smart *kitten* in my reply as well. I'm working on becoming a bodybuilder, or at least look like one if I just can't quite make competition. I hate cardio as well.
Congratulations for your amazing achievement: going from obese to an amazingly awesome physique!!!1 -

Thank you!1 -
Well, my wife was snoring loud enough to keep me awake, so I went and slept on the couch but slept until 6 instead of 5 so I didn't go to the gym today. I needed the extra hour of sleep.
Also, I have a huge blister on my foot from golfing this weekend, so I can't run right now.
And I'm halfway through renovating our laundry room so I need to work on that when I get home.2 -
It's raining0

I'll miss my lifting session this evening as well as my weekend session because I'm taking the family camping this weekend and I need to get the shopping done and the camper loaded up so we can hit the road tomorrow...I also need to get my oldest a new fishing rod as we broke his on the last outing...plenty of family hiking this weekend and spending some time with my boys fishing...I'll likely bring my CX bike along and take a mountain ride at some point...my oldest likes to ride with me when he can...

Tonight is my daughter's drum lessons and I have to drive her. Although, there's a neighborhood behind the school and I'm considering going running in there, instead of sitting in the car and playing chess on my phone for 45 minutes.1

Haven't gotten to it yet, but it's in my schedule and will be done by the end of the day. (Hooray for work activity that includes lots of walking.)0
