Successes / struggles this week: My final weekend of the month was my monthly (until winter) "beer weekend", where I basically pay zero attention to calories from beer and drink all day. Typically that means weight gain, and I expected no different this time. Except I actually managed to somehow lose 0.6 pounds on the weekend, on top of my impressive 3 pounds off during the week. Feeling on top of the world right now.

My numbers don't reflect how happy I truly am with myself, I wish I had actually tracked inches instead. I'm down 9 pounds this month, but I'm also up a lot of muscle. My clothes are fitting SO MUCH better! I have to make every effort to keep going to the gym through September.2 -
