New month, new challenge!
Our challenge is to do 10,000 steps in a day. You can do this for any one day or try for the entire month. Jump right in at any time! You can set a lower or higher goal if you wish. Our main goal is to keep activate every day!
It's easy to join - Just post here to begin! You can also jump in anytime during the month, too.
You will need a step counter to keep track of your steps and then post your results daily here.

Working with PT on some limitations so setting the goal small and assuming the numbers will be higher as time moves along. Total steps daily: 3,500.2

I just calculated last month's steps and vastly underestimated how many I did last month even though I had some very lazy days, didn't wear my FitBit some days, and days I didn't record my steps in the challenge at all. I am changing my goal to 250,000 for the month instead!1

I have been really slacking on my steps lately!!! All i want to do is sit. So i am in. I will do 300,000 steps in september. For an AVERAGE of 10,000 / day.

My goal is 7500 steps per day, as I have a sedentary job and do some biking, in addition to walking, for exercise. As the weather gets cooler, my steps will, hopefully, increase as biking decreases some.

@NJoyce13 I'm an FT student, too! I also have to force myself to take breaks and move when I am not on campus. It's so much easier to get all my steps in when I'm there.3
