since I gave myself to Jesus when I was 19 (I'm now 64) my purpose has been to grow in Him, that is to find out who I am & how to deal with hurts, junk from growing up, how to forgive, to grow in character, how to deal with life's issues whey they come up, they always do, how to have peace in the midst of tragedy, how to love others but not get my identity & security from them alone & have peace with God & how to use my talents to help others, my main "gifts", what I lean toward & get fulfillment out of doing is to be of service, so I used that over the years to be of service to ppl in many different ways & ended up working in a hospital for a living & animal rescue as a volunteer currently. Also to get to know Him more as time went on. Life is good because of Him, no matter what else is going on.8

@owa1s I agree with you! I believe everyone's purpose in life is to not answer hate with hate and to always show respect. As Dali Lama said:
"Our prime purpose in this life is to help others . And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them."
