    I'm definitely in! It seems that no matter how hard I try, I can't get out of the 180's bracket. Here's a good chance for me to kick it in the *kitten* with some great people! First challenge since I've joined. =]

    Hello everyone! Wish us all luck, nope will take that back...............No LUCK needed it ..........We and not just I will do this together pound by pound. So lets give it what we got and if we fall , we get back up and keep moving until the end of the month.

    My name is Jackie (jlbiles) I am the database keeper for the 10 pound challenge. I am writting this to let you know how this challenge works. On the dates below we weigh in. Any other day you can post and communicate to the group anything else you want. If you need encouragement, help ect. The owner of the group is fatboypup.

    I need you to post your weight by Wensday of each week. If you mess a week I will delete your name from the database enless you tell me what is going on a head of time. You can reach me at this address or jlbiles@ymail.com. If you can't open the database I post once a week let me know and I can email you a copy if you give me your email address. Any other questions just ask.

    Remember 1-2 pounds a week is healthy weight loss. almost no one ever looses the 10 pounds a month so don't let that discourage you.

    Please can I join in? It will be a challenge as we are away for the last two weeks of August but I am keen to keep up the shrinking action. I've managed to lose 11lbs during July, my first month of being here and starting my weight loss journey. I am facing major surgery on 3rd October (total hip replacement) which seems like a good reason to try to become slimmer and fitter. I have had ME/CFS for 23 years and have gradually become more and more cuddly. Now it has to stop. What I like about this site is that I am learning healthier eating and cooking habits, and had managed to build up to 30 minute swimming sessions until last week when a cut finger meant no immersion. My friend CarolTina introduced me to MFP and we have managed to match each others' weight loss over the past month. I know that it's going to get harder now the beginning phase is over.
