The journey from being obese and sedentary to being featured in runners world

It's almost surreal to me that this has happened, that I am where I am today. On the verge of doing an ironman triathlon and having my story told by the good people over at runners world
I would add more but the author did such a good job telling my story I don't want to spoil it. So click the link and read if you want

I love it, so many parallels. It is almost as if our journeys are mirror images but I only had 50 pounds to lose. I got a fitbit, that led me to MFP, I started walking (because I can't run), I started running, I showed up at my customer's house and she looked irritated "I thought Scott was coming" "I am Scott" I said, bought a bike, wear HOKA's and my first race was a Half Marathon. My next goal is a full marathon. I don't think I can do an Ironman due to shoulder (rotator cuff) injury limiting my ability to swim but after reading your story maybe it's all in my mind. My sister just completed her 3rd full Ironman at age 61 so maybe there is hope for me. Fantastic story and stay strong!5
