Trip to London

We'll be crossing the pond in a couple of weeks with a visit to London. It will be our first time there and I'm wondering if there is anything to see or do there... at all.

I know that I'll want to visit the Vatican, The Louvre & the Leaning Tower of Pisa while in England and I'm hoping that some of you might have some other recommendations that do not involve shopping.

Thank you in advance for any ideas...... and let's keep it clean (you know who you are).

For real though if you ever visit London, inbox me, I know some great places.

I thought more like Wales but I'm not sure.
Camino Inca is in Mongolia, and that's right next to England, I am positive

we'll be staying near Hyde Park ( I think) how far is Yorkshire? we're looking for things of historical interest, not so much shopping or fine dining.

    Thanx!

avoid the sweets. honestly most of the food i think. the stuff they consider good is not good.

I don't give a rip about the food.

..... unless Pippa wants to have lunch.

also.... what kind of shoes should I wear?

Will wearing athletic trainers tip me off as an American tourist?

.... or will just wearing my Red Sox cap be enough to do so?

these things are important to me.

no trip to London would be complete without a climb up Mount Everest, and weather permitting, a night cruise on the Nile is not to be missed

If you want to be inconspicuous, buy your shoes over there, any American brand will expose you.

So my Nike Air Max glitter shoes aren't a good idea?

    NUTS!!!

really, I don't know the landscape there..... I'm hoping to see some historical places. maybe something from WWII, like Churchill's War Room.

    Tower of London?

the London Aquarium is one of my favorites.

guided tour of the Tower of London is worth it

Jack the Ripper night time walking tour is a blast, as are pretty much any of the countless "ghost" tours in London.
