1) How do I quote the message I'm responding to and then have my response end up directly below it so that it's together and not 5 posts later down the page?
I've tried several different things and it hasn't worked out so well...LOL.

If you look under each post, there are options to Report post, Quote, or Reply.

Hello everyone, I am sorry I have been out of town and did not have Internet, but I am back and ready. My name is Dave and I am a Baptist pastor in Leavenworth, Kansas. I started working on my weight in Jan, and at that time I weighed 280 lbs. My goal is to lose 100 lbs in one year and then write a book on How to lose 100 lbs in a year After 50. I am 52 and have been married for 32 years. I have 2 daughters both of which are married to Army soldiers and both have 3 children.
I will do every thing on the challenge and much more so you can count on me to do my part and help motivate others to do theirs. looking forward to reading your post each day, and sending some support your way.
My starting weight is 222 (Just got back from 2 trips 1 two Cal and 1 to NC.)0 -

Alright guys, so here are the possible points for tomorrow in case you need a reminder:
**** 1 point for everyone on the team who does 100 jumping jacks (these can be broken up throughout the day
**** 1 point for everyone on the team who doesn’t go over their target calories, and drinks at least 8 cups of water.
Don’t forget that if everyone gets both points every day, we get an extra 10 points a week!
PLEASE log your progress in week format (that way if I miss you I don’t have to go back through pages of replies to find yours :-) For example, hopefully tomorrow everyone will post . .

Just got in from camping weekend so the first thing I did was start to get caught up and learn everyone's names.
I'm Lisa B from West Montrose Ontario Canada...am I the only Canadian?? LOL... I'm 40 at the end of August, married with 3 kids and going to be returning to work at the end of summer.
I've set my weight loss goal at 155 but depending on how things go I may push for more. I'd really love to get to 140 but am not sure that is realistic or maintainable. Will have to see.
I've taken up running in the last number of months...inspired by gal at work who runs marathons-- she's been my weekly running coach.
Looking forward to connecting with you all in MFP...0 -

I can't believe I did 100 jumping jacks. I haven't done those in years. But I pushed myself and completed it!!! Woo hoo! GO BOOTIE BUSTERS!!
