Will you feel your rolls vanishing?

I just started my weight loss journey. I have belly rolls like mini ones. I can't visualise them disappearing. Do they disappear and will you ever get those model waist you see on the internet?

Yes they do get smaller and disappear as you lose weight. Mine has mostly gone now after about 40 pounds but I still have 80 pounds to go.
ETA: The rolls I'm talking about on myself are the ones when I'm standing up or laying on my side.
You're never going to be able to look like touched up images of models as they are processed to look "better" and aren't actually what the model looks like in real life. They have cellulite and stretch marks like the rest of us, and even skinny people can get folds of skin if they are sat/stood in certain positions.7 -
Got it thank you2

Here are a couple of web site showing how photoshop is often behind the unlikely physiques we see.

I feel them disappearing in a way... I find myself not having to adjust as much for squats, stretching for touching toes, it's like I have more room to bend over if that makes sense8

Depends on your body type, shape, etc. I still have rolls after losing 130 lb - they are just so much smaller and less of an issue. I know if I wanted to wear bikinis or crop tops I would be really, really bothered by them still, but in clothes I'm not at all, and I don't mind the way they look now in the bedroom and stuff like that. I've described it like a semi truck tire that is now a bicycle tire.4

My first weight loss i went from 312 to 157 pounds an i still had them. I could wear a 4t at the baby gap but still had them.3

I only 'felt' them getting smaller when I felt myself cinching my belt past the last hole.1

I use to be a big boy myself and I had back fat and roll like everyone. After I got my weight loss under control I lost the roll and the back fat. I would say for myself that the type of weight loss you do may make a difference!1

Yes they will go away, it's magical lol. Seriously pay attention to the suddle changes0

I'm still in progress but notice a difference on a weekly basis.1

When you're dedicated to changing you will start seeing and feeling the most subtle changes. You will look at yourself and go, "wait a minute, it's working!"
My rolls might be decreasing slower than I would like but underneath those rolls I feel solid muscle instead of endless squishy.6 -
I feel like I have more rolls (but they're smaller)! My whole stomach used to hang in one piece over my waistband when I'd bend over, then there were two rolls, now there are 3... weight loss is funny like that.5

@sedj241 what different types of weight loss are there?2 -
I recently noticed that my belly and love handles no longer have a well defined "crease" under them.2
