but I've used the pill and Nuva Ring.......

    Is that like a C-ring?

Depends. If you wear it tight enough, they are rather on par for BC effectiveness.

Birth control should not affect your weight loss if you don't give in to cravings.

Have you asked your doctor about the morning after pill? I've heard it's great. Either that or butt stuff.

There we have it..... it took 13 replies to reach 'butt stuff'.

That's about 7 replies past our usual.

    We can do better.

I was highly disappointed that I had to be the one.

Well, nuthin like taking one for the team.

Taking one for the team? butt stuff? Hmmmm

    ... about that ride home.

I see this thread flaming out in about 15 to 20 minutes.

These comments r so funny. But yea the only birth control I've been on was the pill. Yaz, provera..etc..Every single one has made me gain weight and I also have PCOS so I have no choice but to take them. I'm think I'm going to ask my doctor to put me on medroxyprogesterone so I can get a period every month..but it's not a birth control! It doesn't matter to me cause I can't even remember the last time I got laid..

Birth control itself, doesn't make you gain weight but it might, increase your appetite!

I've been on Qlaira for the past 8 months and it hasn't increased my appetite or incite mood swings, in fact, it has actually reduced both during my period compared to how it used to be. No acne, minimal menstrual pains and a light blood flow. Very happy with it and will continue to use it

Actually it isn't because we're able to choose, to not overeat; while using it!

I just use the exclamation point because I dislike periods!
