Scale vs shape

I have lost barely any weight,not even a kg (ok it has only been a week). I just adjusted calories without starting to exercise. But I swear it looks like my tummy has gone down and my pants don't strangle me as much as usual. Could I lose weight without losing weight? ?

Yes, I have barely lost any weight but my shorts are loose and one of my skirts button up now where it wouldn't before. It makes me feel loads better while I'm waiting to see my hard work reflected on the scales.1

As you say, it has only been a week. You could be feeling less bloated. In short, no you can't lose weight without losing weight but you can change shape without losing weight. Log accurately and weight will come off2

you can lose fat without losing scale weight.0
