Is that old-timey speak for jeans? You can never be too old for jeans.

It is! I had to google it.

I agree though. Never too old to wear jeans.

I personally wouldn't wear them, but I don't think that you can be too old to wear them. Wear whatever you want as long as it makes you feel good. Who cares about what other people think!!

Overalls? My answer is still no. Rock those thangs, girl!

    Edit - You're either British or a time-traveler. Dungarees... :D

overalls are fine for anyone under the age of 5 or over the age of 85.

My quick google search brought up some pretty fine-looking models, looking awesome in them. Plus, who doesn't automatically think of Demi Moore from Ghost?

I am in my mid-50's and often wear denim overalls. We live on a farm. They are comfortable and functional. I'd rather see most older people in denim overalls than yoga pants.

    Demi Moore in Ghost?

... are you still listening to Pearl Jam too?

    j/k

and yeah, a hot model will look good in virtually anything she wears.

btw- 'dungarees' is a pretty awesome term; it has more panache than 'jeans'.

You're never too old for anything. When I'm 85, I going to wear a red sequined mini skirt and go roller skating in the park. I can't wait!!

    Eat supper in the parlor...

Hey now! The parlor is for wakes and weddings.

Sorry. I'll put it back in the ice box.

Thank you. I'll be waiting on the Davenport for you.

That's a new one on me.

    I'll show you the ropes.

You promised we wouldn't do that again...

Said no one ever to me

My co-workers are all highly educated people. Yet if I were to share this post I would have to define, dungarees, parlor, davenport, icebox and probably wake. But carry on, I am enjoying the terminology  It is the only time that I am smarter than the rest of my staff, lol.

Actually.... dungarees alone would be terrific.

How bout mom jeans and a pair of house shoes?
    And nothing else right?

    Just a smile
    Definitely a better you!

Great! Now keep in mind that "pretty" is subjective but I might just be the one!
If I consider someone pretty, they are really pretty because I use a geometric prettiness index that I invented in my formative years!

I would hear more of this geometric scale. I am familiar with exponentials like Richter, where the earth moves with 10 times the force for each increasing gradient of Pretty, and I know the standard linear track of 1 thru 10, where I define an '11' as a '7' with the social mores of a bonobo, but tell me how the geometric pattern works...
