My parents have always had people-dogs. It always weirded me out when I had friends whose dogs behaved - well, like dogs. I wondered what was wrong with them that they couldn't tell time, or open doors, or show you exactly what they needed you to do...
My cats are not people. But to them people make useful, though occasionally dumb servants.3 -
