What genre of music do you work out to?

I used to listen to nothing but hip hop/rap and rnb. Lil Wayne was my favorite music artist some years ago. Now I listen to or watch YouTube videos while working out, or I'll listen to Contemporary Christian music. What pumps everyone else up for a good work out??

It happens to the best of us0 -
80s/90s house music, some hip hop (old school), "future house" or drum & bass, sometimes older alt rock like Pixies, Bloc Party, the Strokes.3

Depends on the type of workout I'm doing. If I'm doing strength training, I prefer classical. If I'm running, I tend to listen to Beyoncé or lady gaga.4

When I'm not in a "hating music" mood (which is rarely), I listen to stuff like Creed, Pillar, Two doors down, Ed Sheeran, Tom petty or Pink Floyd, parodies, Disney, Christian.. just depends what I can tolerate before the noise gives me a headache again. Only thing I never listen to is rap, metal head, country, or anything stupid that others find funny.2

I've heard of a few of those bands! I never could get into metal lol it hurts my ears. I have super sensitive ears. Heck, I hated vacuuming as a kid and even a young adult because I was scared of the noise lol!0 -

Sounds so weird, but after I take my pre workout I feel sexual af. (Not sure if that’s a normal side effect) haha!
I usually listen to pop but today I listened to a mix of “bom bidi bom”, “privacy”, “earned it”, etc.
listen to whatever you’re in the mood to listen to and your workout will flow with it.1 -
Rock or metal typically like disturbed. But I will add random songs like Eminem or some eye of the tiger. Anything that will get me pumped.1
