What genre of music do you work out to?

I used to listen to nothing but hip hop/rap and rnb. Lil Wayne was my favorite music artist some years ago. Now I listen to or watch YouTube videos while working out, or I'll listen to Contemporary Christian music. What pumps everyone else up for a good work out??

80s/90s house music, some hip hop (old school), "future house" or drum & bass, sometimes older alt rock like Pixies, Bloc Party, the Strokes.

Depends on the type of workout I'm doing. If I'm doing strength training, I prefer classical. If I'm running, I tend to listen to Beyoncé or lady gaga.

When I'm not in a "hating music" mood (which is rarely), I listen to stuff like Creed, Pillar, Two doors down, Ed Sheeran, Tom petty or Pink Floyd, parodies, Disney, Christian.. just depends what I can tolerate before the noise gives me a headache again. Only thing I never listen to is rap, metal head, country, or anything stupid that others find funny.

I've heard of a few of those bands! I never could get into metal lol it hurts my ears. I have super sensitive ears. Heck, I hated vacuuming as a kid and even a young adult because I was scared of the noise lol!

Sounds so weird, but after I take my pre workout I feel sexual af. (Not sure if that’s a normal side effect) haha!
I usually listen to pop but today I listened to a mix of “bom bidi bom”, “privacy”, “earned it”, etc.
listen to whatever you’re in the mood to listen to and your workout will flow with it.

Rock or metal typically like disturbed. But I will add random songs like Eminem or some eye of the tiger. Anything that will get me pumped.

Rock and metal seem to be a popular choice!
