What weight dumbbells do you use when you do your 30 Day Shred DVD?

  • I used 5 lbs because it was all I had (and believe me, it was pretty intense! ), but most use 3 lb weights I think :flowerforyou:

5lbs, probably going to up 8 soon though. Good luck! Start with whatever is comfortable then go up from there. :)

3 pounds and for most of the exercises I think that is perfect, some I could bump up to 5.

Jillian and the girls are using 3lb weights on the DVD. But you should use what you are capable of using (and what you have) whether that be 2, 3, 5, 8, or 10 pound weights.

It depends on the move I use anywhere between a 3 to 15... and sometimes I use ankle weights.
