Okay i just don't get it just did Max Interval circuit . Okay it wasn't perfect, it wasnt pretty but i busted my *kitten*.
still cant even speak in coherent sentences yet LOL. yet my burn was 485 calories.
now i weigh 194.8 at five foot tall.
average heart rate was 155
this does not really make much sense to me, now I was not suprised not to get the 1000 cal burn as most but was expecting a bit better than 485.
if i plug that same information (age, weight, length of activity, avg hr) into triathlon training blog , calorie caculator it comes up with
actually about 900 cals, (edit cause i typoed the time)
i just dont understand what my problem is.
second question should i even care

The MFP calculator isn't that accurate - everyone I know on FB and other sites, and everyone I talk to all say the same thing. The most accurate way to get the calories burned is a heart rate monitor.
Am going to have to check out the website you mentioned, I have been wondering how off MFP is and my HR monitor is broken.0 -
sigh , was hoping for more feed back , as i am getting pretty frustrated.
begining to wonder if there is a point to busting my *kitten* this hard for less than 500 cal burn0 -
is your HRM working throughout your workout? Does it show OO sometimes? Look at it throughout to make sure it's not low on battery. Also did you enter in your height/weights/activity level ? You also have to take into account your weight you have lost a lot and if you have been doing cardio all along your heart is probably getting healthier so you will burn less.
Don't give up though it's worth it!0 -
It would be interesting to try another HRM if you can afford it, just to see, or borrow somebody elses? I wish I had one. I'm curious as well, what I am burning during "Insanity". I think you are doing so awesome though! And I bet you are continuing to burn calories like crazy throughout the day from doing it.0
