Carb addiction

I am finishing up a carb cleanse diet. My question now is, how do I go from here? How do I reintroduce healthy, high fiber carbs without falling into that rut again?

If it was me, i would wait to introduce them. The longer you go without sugars, the easier it is to control them.3

First, realize that you aren't and have never been addicted to "carbs". Carbohydrate is starch and sugar and provide energy, just like protein and fat, and while we don't technically need to eat carbs, they are found in many foods that provide nutrients we need, and those foods are delicious.
Then you will understand that a carb cleanse diet would be rubbish.
Then you may want to aim to eat a balanced and varied diet, which includes all the foods you like, but over time, not too much of anything.
This will make your brain function at optimal capacity, and you will be armed to think critically, and to make overall better decisions.8 -

^^^ This.
I was hoping there was some tale of epic euchre escapades or terrible Tahoe tribulations. Carbs are not the enemy, going low carb is just a strategy to reduce calories.2 -
I'm a vegetarian. There are carbs in my protein. Or is that protein in my carbs? (Two great macros that go great together...)
No need to be afraid of carbs, no need to cleanse from them. Just enjoy them in moderation.2 -

HA! Me too. I will throw down on euchre.0 -

I'm picturing two vegetarians staring at a bowl of beans and saying "You got carbs in my protein! You got protein in my carbs!" like the old Reese's ads.5 -

I don't understand what the "cleanse" was supposed to do for you. Temporary elimination of carbs will give you temporary results.
There are no good carbs or bad carbs. Are potato chips the "healthiest" thing I can eat? No, of course not. But that doesn't mean I can't have a serving of chips and lose weight.
You introduce high fiber foods by making better choices. You don't have to make perfect choices all the time. You can choose chips once in awhile. But make sure you are getting fiber from other sources.....whole foods: fruit, veggies, whole grains.
Maintenance for me will take moderation skills, because I won't be eliminating favorite foods forever.1 -

This is one reason why I don't recommend such "cleanses." They don't offer any tools or education to help you make long term adjustments to your eating habits.3 -
Log your healthy, high-fiber carbs everytime you eat them and stay within your calorie limits for the day and you will lose weight. I eat bread every day and have either rice, pasta or potatoes every day at lunch and sometimes at dinner as well. I've lost 32 pounds since March of this year, because I log every calorie I eat and stay within the calorie deficit set for me by MFP.0

Just fit them in your calories and figure out what foods fill you up the most and eat them. Ultimately, you can't detox from foods, especially carbs/sugars since your body runs on them.0
