I still have around 30 pounds I want to lose, but felt like sharing my journey so far with some of the newbies who may feel like they'll never get there!
I have been on this journey for 4 years now! I have been dieting and exercising only, no special fads just watching calories in vs. calories out! Have cut out mostly processed foods besides the occasional treats (i'm sure that's why it's taken 4 years)
I started at 340 pounds, and am now officially 198! If I can do it you can do it!

Girl, it took me forever to get from 210, to 199! Every day i would step on and hope that today would be the day! Just stick with the plan and it WILL work for you!

Wow... Today is my first day back using MyFitnessPal after a couple of years not and I needed to see your inspiring story bc I know the start is hard but I gotta keep up with it and stories like this help sooooo much...thanks for staying and giving people like me hope1

You probably know it's a lot of work and you never think you're going to get there but you keep going for you and when you hit the one under you know you're going to make your goal. Am I right?5 -

That is AWESOME! Congratulations! I keep doing well for a few months, then dropping off... then having to RE-start over and over, and it's been going on a few years! I think my "all or nothing cause gotta lose this much, by this date" approach is obviously not working- so I'm trying to look at it in a new way and so I love seeing progress like yours- it that tells me it CAN be done and to just keep watching the calories and don't set unrealistic expectations that make me quit when I can't obtain them! You look amazing, and it's got to be a huge feeling of accomplishment!!1
