Muscle and Fitness is mostly crap - they tend to push programs that are not usable by a natural and are often copied from top tier bodybuilders who are on heavy stacks... also tend to push product like a snake-oil salesman from the old west. ;)

This is the program I think the OP is talking about. http://www.muscleandfitness.com/workouts/workout-routines/gain-10-pounds-muscle-4-weeks-1

Are you saying you're going to gain 10 lbs of only muscle (no fat) in 5 weeks?!? Pretty much impossible.

    This.

10 lbs. of bodyweight possible but all muscle impossible.

    Think about it...

    52 weeks / 5 weeks = 10.4 x 10 lbs. = 104 lbs. of muscle a year if you just kept going.

Are you sure you read the article right?

The idea of doing basic compound movements to build your strength and physique is sound however.

10 lbs is doable.. but only about 2 lbs of that will be muscle.

10lbs of weight sure. 10lbs of that being all muscle.......................nah. Now if you gained 35lbs and 10lbs was muscle sure. But in 5 weeks....................................maybe if gear was involved.

No amount of "supplements" will facilitate 10lbs in 5 weeks of muscle.

If it's WEIGHT, you're talking about then no problems except the excessive fat gain you'll have.
