Fat lose products

I have seen a lot of products at chemists and markets like Coles and woolworths...
Some of the protein powders there are like the fat burner/blaster, lots of them are for burning fat.
What do you guys think of thise products and how does a protein shake can burn fat? As i know protein is the maintain muscles and make them stronger.
Thanks guys

I support the above statement, if any of this worked everyone would know about it and do it.........I sure as hell would and I would be telling everyone......so far all I am telling people that works is diet and exercise.

The only fat burners that really work are illegal because they also tend to be fatal when taken.

For the claim that the protein powders in question burns fat, most are probably basing this on a study showing that people who consumed high amounts of protein tended to lose more fat around the tummy region.

You couldn't pay me to buy protein powder from Coles/Woolies or the chemist. The brands I've seen there are fairly crap imo.

In regards to protein, a shake won't burn fat. It will contribute to your protein intake, which may make you feel fuller and therefore stick to your deficit more easily. Protein is also important for your body functions, not just maintaining muscle. You may be able to get sufficient protein through food though, you don't necessarily need shakes or supplements

Calorie deficit is just that. Your body still needs fuel and fat is the way your body stores fuel for later use.

Most fat burners are caffeine and diuretics (they make you pee) or laxatives (make you poop).

It's simple, but hard to do. Plug your stats into MFP and stay within your daily calorie goal everyday. Move more. No hype.

Just eat real food, not too much, mostly plants. This isn't rocket science. Stop making it hard.

Agreed. I've looked at the ingredient of some of the cheaper meal replacements and protein shakes, and I'd suggest going to GNC or some place that specializes in nutrition.

Also, in addition to satiety, protein has a higher thermogenic effect than carbs or fats, meaning that it takes more calories for our bodies to process protein than it does any of the other macronutrients. This is probably what these advertisers are talking about when they use marketing terms like "fat blaster" or "fat burner."

There is no magic pill and a lot of those "diet pills" have ingredients in them that are down right dangerous. I used to work at large chain vitamin store and NOTHING I repeat NOTHING in there was regulated by the FDA. There was one ingredient in particular called bitter orange extract that has some scary emerging research. Some studies claim it can strain your heart and cause heart attacks in perfectly healthy people. Granted there is no real scientific research done yet so take that as you will, but personally I would not want to risk a heart attack just to lose a few pounds.

It's FREE: lower your daily carbs and sugar intake equal to or slightly less than 100 grams a day and increase your protein and healthy fat (real olive oil, grass fed butter, coconut oil) while maintaining a calorie deficit and you will lose fat, inches and weight...

Unfortunately, these fat burner shakes and diet pills are a gimmick. I few years back when I was trying to lose weight fast in my first years of college I resorted to trying hydroxycut, garcinia cambogia (spelling is probably wrong lol), and other brands that claimed quick and effective weight lose. However, they're essentially diuretics and laxative so the weight you are "losing" is usually just water weight. I struggled with unhealthy food and attempted weight loss habits for awhile so I spent a lot of time and effort trying to get those products to work for me. In the end, a healthy diet and occasional exercise always wins!

Yes I'm the same way! I've lost enough weight to where I think I should look completely transformed, but since I see myself and analyze my body daily I'm not seeing the difference. However, my friends, family, and clothes are telling me otherwise!

Exactly I'm like 28 pounds gone and I tell my fiancé I'm discouraged because I don't see a difference but he tells me all the time how much I look like I lost! But it's just because I see myself everyday
