This will not help you lose weight.
I watched this for 20 minutes yesterday (couldn't tear my eyes away), just mind blown at how they get away with this crap. The fine print.... this works best when combined with diet and exercise. If anyone has any other great examples of ridiculous weight loss products please post them......and the fine print with them, so we can point and laugh.
p.s. I would NEVER be able to look at a man that wore one of these ever again

Too true, my surprise with visiting the UK was the crazy topless phone sex commercials that show the girls talking on the phone and moving in some very suggestive motions. We have some of that here but not nearly as much.1 -

The tights are made with microcapsules of caffeine built into the fabric. When your legs heat up, the caffeine activates and is supposed to increase your metabolism and burn fat. The manufacturers claim the wearer can lose two centimeters from their thighs and lessen the appearance of cellulite.

haha I wonder if that was your hotel room channel specific, or a random "sky" channel because I don't think I've ever really seen one of those on British TV lol. To be fair I only rarely watch "normal" tv nowadays, maybe bbc or channel 4 if there's a decent documentary on, its mostly netflix if the telly's on.1 -

It was on my parents tv, they lived there. It was later at night though.3 -
Well you will lose some water weight which will make you happy because you don't know the difference between fat loss and water weight loss. Then you will drink a few glasses of water or some other liquid, put on all the weight you lost then start a "Help I gained 5 pounds in 2 days!" post. Sound about right?11

Reminds me of something Paul Harvey said regarding a diet drug's claim that it works with diet and exercise: "a twinkie can claim the same thing".12

Not an infomercial, but when I was a kid in the 80s we went to a lot of garage sales. At one of them there was this THING. It had a big belt on a motor on top of a pole and a platform at the bottom. It was painted an a horrible 70s color, maybe that avocado green, or blue. It's been a long time!
I asked my dad what it was, and he stood me on my platform and wrapped the belt around me and turned it on. (It was plugged in) the belt shook my whole body, and I remember it made me giggle a lot because it felt really funny.
My dad told me that they sold these in the 70s to help you lose weight instead of exercising, and that they didn't work, because they just jiggle your fat and don't burn calories. My dad was fat, but he knew a lot about what would and wouldn't work for weight loss and nutrition, he just wouldn't do the work.
I think of that stupid looking machine every time I see a fad weight loss device. Especially the shake weight!6 -
My inlaws (who are in their mid 70s) are big time infomercial shoppers...they have it all. One visit over the house, my mother in law whips out the shake weight. My hubby and I couldn't stop laughing! Tears were running down my eyes. I still giggle thinking about it.14
