Hi, Michelle, I'm Mike. I hit 40 back in June, and discovered my body didn't instantly fall apart the way most electronics do the day after the warranty runs out, lol.
40 is the new 30, my dear. Use it like an uber New Year's resolution to motivate you to do something you've been wanting to do for a while but never got around to; for me, it's starting training for a half marathon. (Maybe a full, depends how my knees hold up prepping for the half.)2 -

Omg isn't it so cool being 40 I so love it. I like seriously do lol for real OK I'm in this to loose 50 kilos/100 pounds .. Im not even gunna try and type my story right now im at work my phone keypad is small and i have sausage fingers lol but just saying hi and that I love being 40 :-) umm is 40 considered middle aged eh ... Just looking at the link above. That's trippy as.2
