Anyone else find that they're still SO hungry after finishing their meal?

WHY is this? :(

Lots do. What we perceive as hunger after eating, is just appetite that is awakened by eating.

Ahhh! Should I wait a while then? I feel like I could eat another two meals haha.

Just make sure you are eating properly - if you follow MFP's suggestion, you'll never be far off. Yes, feeling of satiety often takes some time. I love to eat, and I can eat way more than I need. So I have to be a bit careful. I have figured out that if I eat until I'm full, I've eaten too much.

According to your diary, you're hungry because you're massively under eating. You've only logged 500-700 calories A DAY for the past few days. If that's actually what you're eating, you absolutely should eat another meal after you finish your first tiny meal.

    I've been eating between 1100 - 1200 calories a day?! I wouldn't survive on 500 aha

1100-1200 is still very low especially if you are active at all.

@izabella813 at age 63 I finally learned I needed to consume less than 50 grams of carbs daily to keep from eating the legs off of the table

3 years later I am down 50 pounds and maintaining under 200 for the first time in decades.

Now it takes no real effort on my part and I am free of all Rx meds.

Best of success in finding the way of eating that self manages your appetite. The same eating macro does not work for everyone.

Are you short? Because 1100-1200 is not a lot unless you are really sedentary or your short. Maybe you need to up your calories. How much do you have to lose? Maybe losing 0.5lb a week is more sustainable for you?

I went back a couple of weeks. I agree, if you're logging properly, you're undereating. Get a realistic calorie goal and eat that--not half. Undereating will cause problems with your body. You don't want that.
