Oh thank you for the idea. I’ll check those out!!4 -
I am looking forward to joining this challenge! I am at my heaviest since having kids, so it is time to get back on track. I joined a challenge at the gym to workout 3 days per week for the next few weeks and I am hoping this challenge will help me stay on track with eating too.
My goals- track all food, drink more water!, lose 1.5-2lbs with this round
Thank you!!6 -
I'm in! Seems like just the thing I need to get to those stubborn lbs.

to all the Newbies, and Hi to those returning for another Round. This has got me back on track big time!
Observations, and Previous RoundsMany events along the way will scupper our best intentions, but they merely delay the achievement of our goals. Life is for living, and one must learn patience. It takes many years to put on excess weight, so It follows that it takes much time to remove, but it is coming off, bit by stubborn bit! Stick with it! The game continues!
A lot of people get upset by apparent weight gain when they have been working their butts off. Body weight fluctuates, both up, and down, from one day to the next depending on so many factors. From my experience:- Changes often take several days to show on the scale.
- A drop is often followed by a bounce up before it settles back down. A general downward trend is the aim.
- A high sodium day usually results in a gain due to water retention, unless you drink extra fluids to flush it out.
If you are making positive lifestyle changes it will lead to increased health and fitness.
Slow and steady leads to sustainable weight loss.
But remember to live a little along the way!

ROUND 19 - MY ROUND 6
I have not had a lot of success. Something is always "happening" and it gets distracting. I tracked honestly today (10/9) and already am at 1700 calories at 6:15 pm!! Going to try to be honest and hope that helps me make better choices. I want to be below 159.9 for my friends wedding that I'm in on October 27.
10/9 162.3 - a bit over where I was at the beginning of last round - I can't keep myself together...but I do believe my "average" of weights went down last round...

09/10 - 198.2 - I had a rough R18, my weight went up, I am still waiting on a physio appointment (which is likely to be next year) and I am in a lot of pain almost constantly, exercising is very difficult for me at the moment, walking and upper body strength / stretch is all I can manage, this 10 days I am cutting a further 200 calories from my daily goal to compensate for the lack of movement.

Goal - think I’m being too ambitious, didn’t think my goal was unrealistic but so many things popping up like holidays and work trips that are stuffing me around. There is either nothing or it pours with trips. So this round I’m going to aim to get in and stay at 70kg something and stick to 5:2 and overall weekly calories.

Back again! I started midway through Round 2 at 153.9 on 4/29. Ended Round 18 at 141.8. For this round I'd like to get below and stay below 140. Started at 162 something back in early March so I'm down over 20 pounds. I am aiming to reach goal of 132 before New Years.

this makes me feel like I've made no progress, as the previous round I had several days at 175. But It's probably still just water weight from vacation. I also am having a tough time getting back in the game mentally. I want to eat salty and sugary things, not fruits and vegetables! Ok.. enough whining. Plan for today is to stick with the plan. Measure my portions and drink all my water.

10/10 - 260.0 - Yesterday I decided to give myself a cheat day. What a terrible, terrible idea. Not only did I gain (a lot! of) weight, but I was miserable. Bloating, indigestion, heartburn, listlessness. It's truly amazing how much my body has adjusted to my slowly eating better the past month or so. And to think that I used to feel like that EVERY DAY. The way I felt last night and this morning is enough to convince me not to eat like that again.
