Doesnt exactly answer the question at all but id just like to point out just how pleased i am with myself and my mindset- I read through here and got so happy and excited for people and their achievements- Which I come nowhere close to. Didnt judge myself poorly or even cross my mind to compare myself against until I realized i was proud i didnt hah. Was literally nothing but proud. Go everyone ^_^
I really dont have any "fitness" accomplishments as far as like the best or greatest or anything- But I was told I was going to die 3.5 years ago from a heart infection. Couldnt even get myself out of bed to pee on my own for 2 years. Here I am not dead. Walking much further thn just to pee most days. I remember when i started a few blocks walk was HUGE. My average just kept getting more and more. Averaged 10 miles a day. Iv relaxed it now because maintenance. Maybe one day ill be able to run, Iv been to scared because my bad heart. I think i got this, I can do it. When im ready14 -
I can do 20 push-ups! Like real ones, on my toes.8

One particular moment that really stands out was when i successfully completed 5x5 100Lbs on overhead press. And I didnt even struggle! When i started weight lifting i couldnt even lift the empty bar over my head so I was really proud to hit my first big goal.11

Completed the half Ironman on a team with my trainer and another client. It was not my best swim, by far, but without having to be pulled or hold on to a kayak or anything, I got my head on straight, finished the swim, and ran up the hill to transition to pass the chip off to the biker.4

I broke my tibia plateau in November 2016, I had never made any effort with running before that. I completed my first half marathon on Sunday. So proud of myself6

Started lifting for the first time in my life this year!
I've always been athletic (soccer, martial arts, kickboxing), but I've always been too scared to lift.
I went from a 3-day newb split, to a 5-day newb split, and now I'm switching to a 4-day intermediate split. To progress!5 -
Getting my family active!
Since starting my journey to a healthier me:
My teenage daughter has learned to ride a bike, walks everywhere (her college friends all take buses), wants to run (and is currently doing the C25K) and is investigating the best (cheapest) way of taking up ice-skating and swimming.
My teenage son has also learned to ride a bike, walks everywhere and runs three or four times a week with me, including a weekly parkrun. Today, we were walking to the Post Office together and he suggested running. So we did. He also swims regularly.
My almost- teenage son (who used to be incredibly lazy) taught himself to ride a bike and loves it, walks everywhere (he no longer moans about having to walk, he just does it) and swims regularly. He occasionally has bursts of running but isn't interested in taking it up seriously.
My dear little four year old rides a bike (with stabilisers), walks miles (today she walked 6.75 miles - actually, she ran a fair distance of that as she likes to play "beat you to the next lamp-post!") and just cannot sit still for a second.
My husband has re-discovered his love of cycling and walks everywhere as well. He's yet to respond to my challenge of running (the gauntlet was thrown down after he made comments about my running being slower than the local parkrun "average") but the seed has been planted. It just needs the right conditions for germination.
Added to this, we all volunteer at the local parkrun and junior parkrun every weekend.
Even my dear 77-year old mother is changing her habits. She used to drive everywhere but now walks if it's local (within a couple of miles).
It's like ripples on water. Just wonderful!19 -
Hmmm
Tie between pushing half a ton on the leg press and running for 1.5 hours straight.3 -
I started my journey at 189lbs and got down to 150lbs, then I got pregnant with my son. I truly believe I would not have gotten pregnant had I not changed my diet and lost weight. My hormones were all over the place and my periods were so irregular. I did not get down to my goal weight prior to getting pregnant, but I was within the healthy weight range for my height which I was proud of. Then I gained it all back plus 7 pls during pregnancy. I got down to 165lbs at 11 months post partum just due to to breastfeeding and eating a healthy plant based diet. Now I’m exercising and have already lost 1 lb in 5 days! My goal now is to be in the best shape of my life! In my early 20’s I was thin and pretty fit, I worked out regularly. But I was too thin for my height. My goal is to be fit but build muscle! I’m not sure what weight that will be but I’m thinking around 130-135lbs! I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished but I’m not done and I’m determined to finish this!3

Before my last pregnancy, I had my squat up to 205x3 and 1RM for bench was 125lbs. It probably doesn't seem like a lot to most people but I was super proud and would love to get it back up there again!! I have a long way to go3

Ran the Utica Boilermaker this summer. (5K)1

I’m just going to go ahead and say the year 2017 is my biggest fitness achievement. I have to preface this with sharing that my very first run (outside of mandatory gym class 15+ years ago) was .53 miles toward the end of February, 2016.
In 2017, I completed:
- My first full marathon at the end of April
- My first Olympic Triathlon at the end of July
- My first ultramarathon (50k) in mid-Sept
- My dog’s first 5k at the end of Sept
They were all awesome experiences and they each were uniquely challenging in their own ways. I couldn’t choose just one...6 -

longest single day event was a metric century (100K)...not sure I care to do more than that.
Sure you can!
If you're still on pace to do 4000 miles this year, and if you've done a ride of 75 km in the last month, you could go out and ride another metric century ... then in 2 weeks' time you could do 120 km.
As you build up, the distances you pass get easier. For example, after you've ridden a couple imperial centuries (162 km), those 100 km rides will be just training rides.
Oh, it's not that I couldn't, it's more that I don't really care to from a time management standpoint and doing other things I enjoy. I've actually brought my cycling down a bit in 2017 to make room for some other stuff like coaching my 7 year old's flag football team, doing some rock climbing, etc.
I'm on pace right now for 2500-3000 depending on how the winter pans out. As the metric century goes, that was more than enough time for me on a bike...as much as I love it, I was ready to be done with it at about 40-50 miles in...for the last 12 or so miles all I could think about was beer and a cheeseburger...I had to pass through my very own neighborhood with about 5 miles left and it was so tempting to just roll into my driveway and call it a day....lol4 -
I ran a 7:05 mile about a month ago. Couldn’t believe I was capable of that.3

I can walk around Target without needing to lean on a cart.
It's not much compared to your feats of strength and endurance, but it's a start! (And it's been a LONG time since I've been able to walk without pain)
I love this- and being able to walk without pain is huge! Keep going!

I started C25K in June. At 40 yrs old, I didn't think this was possible for me.

My favorite achievement is that I went from a 20 minute mile exhausting me just a year ago (to the point where I felt I needed to rest afterwards), to now running 5k on the treadmills a couple times a week - and being able to go to work right afterwards and having a lot of energy for the rest of the day.5
