Hi, I started this 5 weeks ago and I’ve been tracking every since then. Even when I have a bad day or a bad week, I still track. I’ve been diagnosed with pre-diabetic and that scared me. So I decided to change my lifestyle. I would go to fast food every day bc I was lazy cooking. Now I love to cook and I meal prep every week. I tried Weight Watchers, but it wasn’t working for me. The only thing I’m having an issue with is staying under my macros and meeting my calories. I’m supposed to eat 1800 calories a day. I’m barely making it to 1300-1500 calories a day. I work graveyard yard shift and I’m not normally hungry at night. I would love some suggestions on how to meet my calories. Thank you

Both above comments are great! Like the 1st one mentioned, try changing up your menu to higher intake healthy choices, and also combine them if you can to make meals with a few high calorie (healthy) meals too! And drink tons of water on night shifts for sure!!!
Your awesome and your going to kill this!!!!

Macros is what makes up calories. So if you are over on macros and under on calories, and not just by a little that can be explained by rounding, you're using some faulty entries.

If you're overweight, you will have no trouble eating 1800 calories per day; your challenge would be to not go over. If you aren't losing as expected, you aren't eating too little.

Check your food logging. You need a food scale, logging exact amounts, and using genuine entries with correct nutritional values, and not leaving anything out, or forgetting, or cheating.

You can eat anytime you want. You can eat anything you want.
