You guys are my friends so I take your counsel wisely.
I thought I was being pretty productive today. I woke up and worked out, came home and had breakfast, took a nap, then a shower. Now I'm headed out to play a round of golf. My mom called me and is all mad because I'm not out looking for a job. Pisses me off because my day is pretty packed already and I don't have time for that.
I want to respect my mom but at the same time I don't like it when she gets on to me like that. It messes with my backswing.
Thoughts?
Also, does anyone know how to log in a round of golf?

Just let her know you are trying, and that you need a day of not looking. Say something bout getting a fresh out look on things or something like that, and that you get she's concerned, but that she needs to trust you.....2

Not trying to be harsh here but I am assuming you are living at home too. If you were my son and that was your day I would not give you a dime and start charging you rent. I was brought up that you work so you can play.2

Maybe text her a picture of your gold scored card so she can truly see how productive you are. All moms like to be proud.0

She doesn't give me a dime. Taxpayers or somebody pays. I'm not sure which.0 -

You don't need to do anything to these thoughts, feelings or physical sensations. Instead, give them a nod of acknowledgement, continue breathing calmly and naturally for a few minutes to anchor yourself to the present moment. Remind yourself of the task at hand and that MeeseeksAndDestroy is a thespian. Also, remind yourself why you are doing it. As soon as you are ready, be it after a few seconds or several minutes of being still, continue on your chosen path.2 -
