Hi I'm new and mum looking to lose baby weight...
I'm unsure of what balance of carbs, protein and fat I should apply... does anyone have tip? Many thanks

I prefer to go by grams - 0.8g per lb of body weight for protein. I aim to eat at least 50g fat per day, preferably a bit more, and the rest as carbs...
If you're new to tracking, focus on calories first - these are the most important in weight loss1 -
I've a natural figure bodybuilder friend and she suggested I go 30 fat, 35 protein 35 carbs... But I have a LOT of weight to lose...2

Macro breakdown is not relevant to how much weight you have to lose, you can lose weight with any split as it's calories that matter at the end of the day. How you choose to fill your calories is personal preference - do what satiates and satisfies you the most. (that said, I think getting sufficient protein and fat is important)1 -

I just convert kg to lbs... But it's about 1.8-2g per kg0
