Bad for what?
I'm sure it's great if you want to be able to say you do 100 Push-ups a day?1 -

I thinks it's fantastic. Boring but not bad for you. Have you considered trying something new? Kettlebell for example1

I've got elbow tendonitis twice over the past 18 months doing a routine of 100 pushups, 50 pullups and 80 dips, every other day, three times a week.
Got it in both elbows the 1st time and it took a month for it to go away. Got it again in my right arm only a month ago and it still hasn't gone away yet.
Did not do any pushups, pullups, dips or any upper body lifting waiting for the elbows to heal the 1st time and am still not doing any of those things now pending recovery of my right elbow this time.
Got a referral to orthopedics with an appt pending that I will cancel if the tendonitis resolves itself before then.
This is what can happen if you do more pushups (and other exercises) than your body can handle.

Some people do get shoulder or elbow problems from it, or slouched posture from not working their back. You're better off following a full-body program designed by a pro. If you need help choosing one, tell us what equipment you have.0
