Taking a week break from logging food - What results have YOU had from a logging break?

It always resulted in weight gain and taking way longer to get back on the wagon than I ever expected.0

I haven’t truly logged in well over a year (I’ll log this smoothie here or that chicken spaghetti recipe there, just out of curiosity, but never the whole day), and I only weigh certain things just so they taste the same (for instance, my smoothies I know I want exactly 33g of protein powder, 113g of Greek yogurt, 90g of this fruit or that, etc). I’ve maintained within my goal weight range. With me, weight I set out to lose and the logging I did to lose it showed me how much food I would put on my plate and eat simply because it was there, not because I was actually that hungry. I ended up cutting my portion sizes in half, even thirds for some things, and realized I was absolutely fine. It also changed my “bored eating” habit. Now I always keep that in mind and not logging works just fine for me1
