No Mt Dew for me!!

I have not drank any pop in over a week now. Nothing but water and unsweetened tea. I cut down my carb intake also. By alot. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I also cut my calories from 1800 to 1280 calories. I took some big steps, Well big for me anyway but I must say I feel good about it

    That's awesome!!! How are you feeling with all the changes?! Coming off of sugar, felt like I was detoxing from something! I was emotional, tired, and headachy!

    I am glad you kicked the Dews! My husband drinks 5 a day, and NO water! I've actually gotten him to drink some water over that last week, so it's a start!

    Your kidneys will thank you for the changes you are making!

    Well I am always tired because of narcolepsy and it's bad. My doctor right now is trying some new treatment. I have always had kidney problems. I get stones at least once a year and I have had kidney failure. I was in the hospital for several weeks. Thank God I got better. To top it all off I have congestive heart failure. So me losing weight is really really important for my health. I just wish it would happen a lil faster.
